Muay Thai Chiang Mai FAQ: What to Know Before Booking
KYI (Know Your Intent) is our form for reviewing your plans before we provide programme-specific guidance.
Most questions start with price. Start with what you are actually booking, what is included, and which route fits the way you want to train.
Three ways to find the right answer.
For guests building their stay around Muay Thai.
For single sessions, passes, and private lessons.
For eligible ED and DTV programme routes.
Stay & Train
How much does Stay & Train cost?
There is no fixed price list or PDF rate sheet. Prices vary by room type, length of stay, season, number of guests and package. Enter your dates and guest details on our official booking page to see the live total and current availability.
Check live price & availability →What is included, and does a second guest get training?
For a private room booked for one guest, the package includes accommodation and training for that guest. For a private room booked for two guests, it includes accommodation for both guests but training for one guest only. The second guest can choose whether to train and purchase sessions separately at the in-house guest rate shown below. This allows couples to stay together even when only one person wants to train. Dormitory bookings cover one bed and training for one adult guest; beds cannot be shared.
Are meals included?
Meals are not included. Food preferences, allergies and religious dietary requirements vary, so we do not provide the same fixed meals for everyone. The Garage, scheduled to open in March 2027, will offer a choice of meals in its dining area. Once it opens, you can choose and pay for meals separately. Please ask us about specific dietary requirements before ordering.
Explore The Garage dining →What is the minimum stay?
The minimum stay is two nights.
How many sessions are included, including check-in and check-out days?
Lite: one session on check-in day, up to two sessions on each full day between check-in and check-out, and one session on check-out day. Full: two sessions on check-in day, up to four sessions on each full day between check-in and check-out, and two sessions on check-out day. A seven-night stay therefore includes access to 14 sessions with Lite or 28 with Full. Sessions are allocated to each day and cannot be carried over. Check the class schedule when planning your arrival and departure.
Check the class schedule →Can I train just once a day or skip a session?
Yes. You do not have to attend every included session. Choose how often to train according to your condition and plans. However, skipped sessions cannot be carried over to another day.
Is parking available?
Yes. Free onsite parking is available for cars and motorbikes.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available to staying guests in the accommodation and common areas.
Is there an onsite laundry room?
Yes. An onsite laundry room with washing machines and dryers is available.
Visitor Training
Can I train without staying at The Camp?
Yes. You can join our regular Muay Thai classes as a visitor without booking accommodation.

Private Lessons & Kids
How do I book a private lesson, and can two people join?
Please book in advance. Lessons last 90 minutes and are normally one-to-one, but one trainer can teach up to two participants, such as a couple or a parent and child. Guests staying on a training package receive the special in-house rate shown below. Availability depends on the trainer's schedule.
Can children train, and must a parent stay nearby?
Children under six can train through private lessons only, because they need close individual attention for safety. Ages six to twelve can join Kids Muay Thai. From age thirteen, children can join regular adult classes, with appropriate placement decided by our trainers. The Camp does not provide babysitting or childcare. A parent or guardian must stay on site and supervise their child from arrival until departure, including during training. Children cannot be dropped off.
Visa & Long Stay
Do ED and DTV training programmes include coworking membership?
Yes. Eligible ED and DTV training programmes include coworking membership at The Garage. There is no extra coworking fee.
Work and train on the same grounds. You do not need a separate coworking subscription.
The Garage opens on 1 March 2027. We will confirm your membership dates before payment.
How do I start a visa-supported Muay Thai programme?
First, complete the KYI form and tell us about your plans. Our team reviews your submission and provides the relevant programme information, fees and next steps. Please read that information before making payment through the official payment link. The visa process begins after payment; detailed, case-specific visa processing guidance is provided as part of that paid process.
Start with the KYI form →Read the ED Visa Guide →Read the DTV Guide →What happens if my visa is refused or I cancel the programme?
If your visa application is refused, or you cancel before attending your first lesson, we refund the tuition fees minus the visa processing fee. Once you have attended even one lesson in your 96- or 192-lesson programme, no refund is available for cancelling or leaving early, including returning to your home country. The fee deducted and payment terms will be explained before payment. This does not limit any refund rights required by applicable law.
Booking
Are discounts or promotions available?
We do not generally offer discounts or promotional codes. Check the official booking page for live Stay & Train prices, and Visitor Training for current training prices and schedules. The specific in-house guest rates and workspace member benefit stated on the relevant pages still apply.

Where can I check cancellation and refund terms?
Read Section 12 of our Terms & Conditions and the conditions shown during booking before paying. Booking-specific conditions apply to the service you reserve. The visa-programme refund rule above applies to the visa-supported course; it does not replace the accommodation or visitor-booking terms.
