TRAIN AT YOUR LEVEL

Find your training level.

Your coach places you by technical readiness. Complete beginners start with the foundations.

FIRST-TIME / FOUNDATIONS

First-Time

For complete first-timers and very new students. They train separately in Muay Thai Foundations during the same scheduled Beginner session until the basic foundations are in place.

STARTING POINT: FIRST SESSIONS
BEGINNER

Beginner

A rough guide is up to around three years of experience. Students know the basic movements and follow the regular Beginner technical theme.

GUIDE: UP TO ~3 YEARS
INTERMEDIATE

Intermediate

A rough guide is more than around three years of experience. Training moves into more complex combinations, defense, timing, movement and technical detail.

LEVEL-CONTROLLED · SHIN GUARDS REQUIRED
ADVANCED

Advanced

For experienced competitors, fight preparation and professional-level athletes. Training can focus on higher-level technical development and, where appropriate, supervised sparring.

LEVEL-CONTROLLED · SHIN GUARDS REQUIRED
INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED REQUIREMENTS

These sessions are level-controlled. Placement depends on trainer judgment. Shin guards are mandatory. Guests without shin guards cannot join. Bring your own, or arrange to rent or purchase a pair before class.

BUILD STRONG FOUNDATIONS

We don't skip the basics.

Stance, balance, posture and footwork underpin every punch and kick. Coaches teach these foundations, watch your movements and correct them as you practise.

Beginners build control before adding complexity. Experienced students revisit the fundamentals while developing combinations, timing and defence. Each class has a clear focus suited to the group's level.

THE CAMP TRAINING LOOP

Inside a 90-minute session.

After learning a movement, you practise it, review it with your coach and repeat it with corrections. This cycle runs through the session, between warm-up and cool-down. Timings are approximate.

Prepare

Approx. 10 min

Warm-up and stretching prepare the body to train with control.

Build the Shape

Approx. 20 min

Learn the correct stance, footwork, balance and mechanics for the session's technical theme.

Repeat

Approx. 30 min

Repetition drills build consistency until the movement becomes cleaner and more reliable.

Apply & Correct

Approx. 20 min

Apply what you learned on pads, bags and guided drills. Your coach reviews your movements, corrects them and has you practise again.

Recover

Approx. 10 min

Cool-down stretching closes the session and prepares the body to return to training.

TRAIN BEYOND CLASS

Strength work has its own place.

A dedicated weight and strength-training area gives guests room for conditioning outside the Standard Muay Thai session structure. Strength & conditioning support is also available for guests who want to build physical preparation around their Muay Thai training, and this part of the offering will continue to develop over time.

Sparring & Clinch Training FAQ

Can I spar at The Camp?

Regular classes may include controlled technical sparring or partner drills to develop reactions and timing. Trainers adjust the speed and intensity to each participant’s level. These exercises are different from full-contact sparring.

Full-contact sparring is restricted to professional or highly advanced fighters with substantial fight experience and the ability to control their power. Individual approval from our Head Coach is required—previous Muay Thai training alone does not qualify someone to participate.

Sessions are supervised, partners are carefully matched by weight and size, and protective equipment, including headgear and mouthguards, is required. If sparring is an important part of your training goals, please contact us before booking to discuss what may be suitable for you.

Is clinch training included in regular classes?

Clinch training is not included in our regular group classes.

Developing correct positioning, balance and control requires close, individual coaching. If you would like to focus on clinching, we offer private lessons where you can work one-to-one with a trainer on clinch technique, turns and knees.
